Job Brief
As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment by resolving disputes between employees and management. Responsibilities
- Facilitate the resolution of workplace disputes between employees and management through effective communication and mediation strategies.
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
- Coordinate and manage grievance procedures to address employee complaints and concerns promptly.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances, ensuring fairness and confidentiality throughout the process.
- Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations issues, promoting best practices for employee engagement.
- Develop and implement training programs focused on conflict resolution and effective communication for staff and management.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance workplace culture.
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure alignment of employee relations initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, or human resources management.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee rights, and collective bargaining processes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze employee relations data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools to manage employee records and grievances.
- Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are preferred.
