Job Brief
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tending to embroidery machines to create high-quality embroidered designs on various products, including garments and non-garment items. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate embroidery machines to execute designs accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Interpret design files and specifications to produce desired embroidery outcomes.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of production quantities and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in textile or embroidery preferred.
- Proven experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or in a similar role within the textile manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of embroidery machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret design files in various formats (e.g., DST, PES).
- Proficient in using digitizing software and embroidery production software.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
