Job Brief

As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and modifying various electrical and electronic equipment, including computers, test devices, telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, possess excellent manual dexterity, and demonstrate proficiency in following technical schematics. This role typically requires prior experience in electronic assembly and a solid understanding of electronic components and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components and systems according to specifications and technical drawings.
  • Modify existing electronic equipment to improve functionality or performance.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all assembled products meet industry standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment to complete assembly tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • Maintain an organized and safe workspace while following industry safety regulations.
  • Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electronic assembly techniques.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics preferred.
  • Proven experience as an electronic assembler or in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit boards, and assembly techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to electronic assembly.
