Job Brief

As an Electrocardiogram Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting diagnostic tests on patients’ pulmonary and cardiovascular systems. Responsibilities

  • Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) to monitor and assess cardiac health.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in performing cardiac catheterizations and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Administer pulmonary function tests to evaluate lung capacity and function.
  • Prepare and maintain testing equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.

Requirements

  • Proficient in performing ECGs and related diagnostic tests.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for accurate record-keeping.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
