Job Brief
The Electrical Systems Drafter is responsible for creating detailed wiring diagrams, circuit board assembly diagrams, and layout drawings essential for the manufacture, installation, and repair of electrical equipment. Responsibilities
- Develop and produce precise wiring diagrams and circuit board assembly drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and project deadlines.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and technicians.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of design-related issues in the manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all design modifications and revisions.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical drafting technology and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and circuit design.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with electrical codes and regulations is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
