Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assemble and modify electrical and electronic equipment, including computers, test equipment, telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical assembly, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be skilled in interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components and systems according to technical specifications and industry standards.
- Modify existing electrical equipment to enhance performance and reliability.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Document assembly processes and report defects or discrepancies to management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical assembly techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical assembly preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Assembler or similar role in the electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical components, circuitry, and schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in IPC-A-610 or equivalent is a plus.
