Job Brief
The Electromechanical and Mechatronics Technologist plays a crucial role in the operation, testing, maintenance, and adjustment of unmanned, automated, servomechanical, and electromechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain unmanned vehicles, including submarines and aircraft, to gather visual data from various environments.
- Test and calibrate electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Assist engineers in the design, development, and testing of robotics equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems to minimize downtime.
- Implement safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards during equipment operation.
- Document operational procedures and results of tests for future reference and analysis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve system designs and enhance functionality.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining automated and electromechanical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of robotics, control systems, and servomechanical devices.
- Proficiency in technical software tools for system design and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to unmanned vehicle operations.
- Ability to work in challenging environments, such as offshore sites or hazardous locations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
