Job Brief

The E-Learning Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating training and development activities within an organization. This role involves designing innovative e-learning programs, managing instructional design projects, and leading a team of training professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of adult learning principles, and experience with e-learning technologies to enhance employee engagement and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive e-learning strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of engaging online courses and training materials.
  • Manage a team of instructional designers and training specialists to ensure high-quality e-learning content.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate e-learning tools and platforms for course delivery.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop tailored learning solutions.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of e-learning programs through data analysis and feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in e-learning and instructional design.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in e-learning development and management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Relevant certifications in instructional design or e-learning development are a plus.
