Job Brief
As a Dog Trainer, you will be responsible for training dogs in various areas such as obedience, performance, and security. Responsibilities

- Accustom dogs to human voice and contact to enhance their responsiveness and comfort.
- Condition animals to respond positively to a variety of commands and cues.
- Train dogs for competitions and shows, adhering to industry standards.
- Prepare dogs for specific roles, including service assistance for individuals with disabilities.
- Conduct assessments of dogs’ behavior and adjust training techniques accordingly.
- Provide pet owners with guidance on training methods, care, and behavior management.
- Maintain records of training progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a dog trainer or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and training methodologies.
- Certification from a recognized dog training organization is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and adapt training methods to meet individual dog needs.
- Physical ability to handle and manage dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Knowledge of basic dog first aid and health care practices.
