Responsibilities
- Develop and write comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, and online help content.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical details.
- Edit and revise existing documentation to enhance clarity and usability.
- Maintain an organized documentation library that is easily accessible to both users and team members.
- Assist in layout and formatting of documents to ensure a professional presentation.
- Conduct usability testing of documentation to gather feedback and improve user experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing or a similar role.
- Proficient in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems.
