Job Brief
As a Display Designer, you will be responsible for planning and creating eye-catching commercial displays that enhance the visual appeal of retail environments, including store windows and interiors, as well as trade exhibitions. This role requires a combination of creativity and technical skills, allowing you to design engaging layouts that attract customers and drive sales. A bachelor’s degree in design or a related field, along with relevant experience in visual merchandising, is essential. Responsibilities
- Plan and conceptualize innovative display designs that align with brand objectives.
- Construct and install displays in retail locations and at trade shows, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure displays reflect promotional campaigns and seasonal themes.
- Research and analyze market trends to create displays that resonate with target audiences.
- Maintain and update existing displays to ensure they remain fresh and engaging to customers.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and props for displays.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of display designs and make necessary adjustments based on customer feedback and sales performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Display Designer or in a similar visual merchandising role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous projects.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Excellent understanding of color theory, typography, and spatial design.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset with a passion for design.
