Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and food preparation equipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a similar position is preferred, but not mandatory. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
- Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Assist kitchen staff by providing clean cooking and preparation equipment as needed.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a healthy environment.
- Support team members during peak hours to maintain efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
