Job Brief

As a Diabetes Educator, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing health education programs aimed at empowering individuals, families, and communities to achieve and sustain healthy lifestyles. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) or equivalent credential.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diabetes education or chronic disease management.
  • Strong understanding of diabetes management guidelines and educational strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and community engagement.
  • Ability to analyze health data and adapt programs based on community needs.
  • Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for health education delivery.
  • Knowledge of public health policies and their impact on diabetes care.
