Responsibilities

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade agreements.
- Collaborate with importers and exporters to resolve discrepancies in customs declarations.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to customs authorities.
- Advise clients on customs procedures and best practices for compliance.
- Participate in audits and inspections as required by regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Customs Appraiser or in a similar customs-related role.
- Strong knowledge of customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Familiarity with tariff classification and customs valuation methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification from a recognized customs authority is preferred.
