Job Brief

The Curriculum Designer is responsible for developing innovative instructional materials and coordinating comprehensive educational content tailored to diverse learning environments. This role requires expertise in integrating current technology into curricula, providing guidelines for educators, and training instructors to enhance teaching methodologies. Ideal candidates will have experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational technology, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging curriculum materials that align with educational standards and learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with educators to assess instructional needs and tailor content to meet diverse student requirements.
  • Incorporate current educational technologies and teaching strategies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Create detailed guidelines and resources for instructors to support effective course delivery.
  • Evaluate existing curricula and recommend improvements based on best practices and educational trends.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to teachers on curriculum implementation and instructional techniques.
  • Conduct research on emerging educational practices and technologies to inform curriculum development.
  • Participate in curriculum review committees and contribute to policy discussions related to educational programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in curriculum design, instructional development, or educational program management.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design models and learning theories.
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools and software, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops for educators.
  • Relevant certifications in curriculum design or instructional technology are a plus.
