Job Brief
The Curriculum Designer is responsible for developing innovative instructional materials and coordinating comprehensive educational content tailored to diverse learning environments. Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging curriculum materials that align with educational standards and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with educators to assess instructional needs and tailor content to meet diverse student requirements.
- Incorporate current educational technologies and teaching strategies to enhance learning experiences.
- Create detailed guidelines and resources for instructors to support effective course delivery.
- Evaluate existing curricula and recommend improvements based on best practices and educational trends.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to teachers on curriculum implementation and instructional techniques.
- Conduct research on emerging educational practices and technologies to inform curriculum development.
- Participate in curriculum review committees and contribute to policy discussions related to educational programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in curriculum design, instructional development, or educational program management.
- Strong understanding of instructional design models and learning theories.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and software, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops for educators.
- Relevant certifications in curriculum design or instructional technology are a plus.
