Job Brief
As a Cryptologic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in operating and monitoring advanced communications, detection, and weapons systems integral to air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to maintain and relay critical communications among military forces while implementing emergency protocols during natural and wartime crises. You will be responsible for interpreting tactical situations, relaying command information to military and government decisionmakers, and operating sophisticated targeting and launch systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor communications systems to ensure seamless coordination among air, naval, and ground forces.
- Maintain critical communications and relay information quickly and accurately to decisionmakers.
- Implement and execute emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Monitor surveillance and detection systems, including air defense mechanisms, to assess tactical situations.
- Interpret and evaluate real-time data to make informed recommendations to superiors.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support operational readiness.
- Collaborate with military personnel to optimize operational strategies and enhance communication protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of communication and detection equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training or experience in cryptology is preferred.
- Strong understanding of communication and detection systems used in military operations.
- Proficiency in operating advanced weapons targeting and launch systems.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret tactical data and evaluate situations.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with military and government personnel.
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols for natural and wartime disasters.
- Relevant certifications in cryptology, communications, or military operations are a plus.
