Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Crown and Bridge Technician to join our dental laboratory team. This role involves constructing and repairing full or partial dentures and dental appliances, ensuring the highest quality standards and precision. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dental technology, proficiency with dental materials, and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Construct and repair full and partial dentures according to specifications and patient needs.
- Utilize various dental materials and techniques to create crowns, bridges, and other dental appliances.
- Inspect and assess the quality of dental products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to understand patient requirements and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each dental appliance.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance product quality.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in dental technology preferred.
- Proven experience as a Crown and Bridge Technician or in a similar role within dental laboratories.
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and their applications in appliance construction.
- Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and tools, including CAD/CAM systems.
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and craftsmanship.
- Certification from a recognized dental technology program is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
