Job Brief
As a Criminalist Technician, you will play a vital role in the criminal justice system by collecting, identifying, classifying, and analyzing physical evidence related to criminal investigations. Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed reports summarizing analytical methods and results for law enforcement and judicial review.
- Testify as an expert witness in court regarding evidence analysis and laboratory methodologies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal teams to support ongoing investigations.
- Stay updated on advancements in forensic science and related technologies to enhance investigative techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in forensic science, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in forensic analysis or a similar role within a laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory protocols, safety regulations, and evidence handling procedures.
- Proficiency in using forensic laboratory equipment and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and testimony.
- Certification from a recognized forensic science organization is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
