Job Brief
As a Crane Oiler, you will be responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of crane machinery by lubricating components, changing parts, and performing routine maintenance. Responsibilities
- Lubricate crane components to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and tear.
- Change and replace parts as necessary to maintain machinery efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of cranes and associated equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute oiling and servicing tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machinery maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience as an oiler or in a similar maintenance role, preferably with heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical skills with a solid understanding of crane operations and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with lubricants, oils, and maintenance tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
