Job Brief

As a Crane Oiler, you will be responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of crane machinery by lubricating components, changing parts, and performing routine maintenance. Responsibilities

  • Lubricate crane components to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and tear.
  • Change and replace parts as necessary to maintain machinery efficiency.
  • Conduct routine inspections of cranes and associated equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute oiling and servicing tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machinery maintenance is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an oiler or in a similar maintenance role, preferably with heavy machinery.
  • Strong mechanical skills with a solid understanding of crane operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Familiarity with lubricants, oils, and maintenance tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
