Job Brief
As a Counterintelligence/HUMINT Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding national security by detecting and mitigating threats to sensitive information and operations. This position requires a deep understanding of counterintelligence practices, human intelligence gathering techniques, and tactical operations. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication capabilities, and experience in intelligence analysis, enabling them to assess risks and devise strategies to neutralize potential adversaries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive counterintelligence investigations to identify and mitigate threats to national security.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret intelligence data to support operational planning and decision-making.
- Develop and implement HUMINT collection strategies to acquire actionable intelligence from human sources.
- Collaborate with military and intelligence community partners to share critical information and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, ensuring clarity and relevance for stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of classified information at all times.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in counterintelligence or human intelligence operations.
- Strong understanding of intelligence collection methodologies and analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in using intelligence software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
