Job Brief
As a Corrosion Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting assets and infrastructure from corrosion-related damage through the development and implementation of effective corrosion management strategies. Responsibilities

- Utilize advanced inspection techniques, such as ultrasonic testing and corrosion mapping, to monitor corrosion activity.
- Develop and maintain corrosion-related documentation, including reports, specifications, and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate corrosion control measures into project designs and operations.
- Provide technical guidance and training on corrosion control practices to engineering teams and field personnel.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to corrosion control.
- Conduct failure analysis investigations to determine the root causes of corrosion incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corrosion engineering or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms, prevention techniques, and materials selection.
- Proficiency in corrosion testing methods and inspection technologies.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes, such as NACE and ASTM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information.
- Certifications in corrosion engineering (e.g., NACE certification) are a plus.
