Job Brief
As a Correctional Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within penal and rehabilitative institutions. Responsibilities

- Escort inmates during transport to and from court appearances or medical appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of inmate activities, incidents, and daily operations.
- Collaborate with correctional staff and law enforcement to ensure inmate safety and security.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on best practices in correctional facility management.
- Provide support during inmate rehabilitation programs and activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or related fields is a plus.
- Valid certification or training in correctional officer protocols and procedures.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to handle potentially hostile situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective inmate interaction.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by law.
- Knowledge of legal regulations and standards governing correctional facilities.
- Experience in conflict resolution and crisis management is preferred.
