Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood or other materials.
- Supply tools and materials to carpenters as needed to facilitate work processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Help with the installation of structures, fixtures, and frameworks.
- Load and unload materials and tools from vehicles and storage areas.
- Support with the removal of debris and hazardous materials from job sites.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Participate in training and skill development opportunities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction or carpentry experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
