Job Brief
As a Concrete Swimming Pool Installer, you will be responsible for the precise construction and finishing of concrete swimming pools. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete pouring techniques, surface smoothing, and the use of both hand and power tools. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in concrete installation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment to ensure the highest quality of finished products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up job sites by aligning forms for swimming pools, sidewalks, and curbs.
- Pour, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces to meet design specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape and finish concrete as per project requirements.
- Patch voids and cut expansion joints using saws to ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Installer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in concrete installation preferred.
