Responsibilities

- Assess and evaluate student performance through practical exams, presentations, and written assignments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing students, fostering their professional development and clinical competencies.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the nursing program and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Stay current with developments in nursing practice and education, integrating new knowledge into the curriculum.
- Engage in research activities that contribute to nursing education and clinical practice advancements.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license in the practicing state.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Prior teaching experience in a nursing program is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented educational environment.
- Proficient in using technology and simulation tools for nursing education.
- Certification in nursing education (CNE) is an asset.
