Responsibilities

- Educate clinical staff on the effective use of healthcare information systems and provide ongoing support for system-related issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure seamless operations of clinical informatics systems.
- Conduct regular system assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary modifications.
- Stay abreast of healthcare regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance system functionality.
- Generate reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making for clinical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Informatics Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of healthcare systems and clinical workflows.
- Proficiency in database management systems and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare data standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clinical staff.
- Certification in Clinical Informatics (e.g., CAHIMS, CPHIMS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of health information privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and best practices.
