Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses.
- Deliver preventive care and therapeutic interventions for athletes and patients.
- Implement emergency care measures during sports-related injuries.
- Design and oversee rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate athletes and clients on injury prevention strategies and proper techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and recovery outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in athletic training and sports medicine.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field.
- Current certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Proven experience in clinical or sports settings, focusing on injury assessment and rehabilitation.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation practices.
