Responsibilities
- Assist skilled masons in the construction and repair of chimneys, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Supply and hold materials and tools for masons, ensuring they have the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment, promoting a safe and organized job site.
- Mix and prepare mortar and other materials as directed by skilled workers.
- Transport materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to support various masonry tasks effectively.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance workplace safety knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
