Job Brief

The Chemical Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of chemical products and solutions to wholesalers and manufacturers, utilizing in-depth technical knowledge in chemistry, biology, engineering, and electronics. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of postsecondary education and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs. This role requires a results-oriented professional who can develop strategic sales plans, manage client relationships, and provide expert product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients in the chemical industry to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the benefits and applications of chemical products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or a related role within the chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
