Job Brief
The Chemical Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of chemical products and solutions to wholesalers and manufacturers, utilizing in-depth technical knowledge in chemistry, biology, engineering, and electronics. Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients in the chemical industry to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the benefits and applications of chemical products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, utilizing CRM tools for tracking and analysis.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide feedback on customer needs and product enhancements.

- Stay updated on industry regulations and safety standards related to chemical products to ensure compliance and customer education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or a related role within the chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and industry regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
