Job Brief
As a Charter Pilot (Commercial), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters on nonscheduled air carrier routes. This role requires a valid Commercial Pilot certificate and entails providing exceptional service to clients while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong navigational skills, excellent decision-making abilities, and a commitment to safety, making them an essential part of our charter operations team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft readiness for safe flight operations.
- Plan and execute flight routes, adjusting for weather and air traffic conditions.
- Communicate effectively with ground control and clients regarding flight status.
- Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and safety standards during flights.
- Maintain accurate flight logs, records, and reports as per regulatory requirements.
- Provide a high level of customer service, addressing client needs and preferences.
- Respond effectively to in-flight emergencies and implement safety protocols.
- Coordinate with ground staff for efficient aircraft handling and passenger assistance.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Pilot certificate with appropriate ratings for aircraft operated.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time, including specific hours in relevant aircraft types.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and air traffic control procedures.
- Exceptional navigation skills and familiarity with aviation technology and instruments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Current medical certification from an FAA-authorized aviation medical examiner.
- Experience in charter operations, air ambulance services, or air tours is preferred.
