Job Brief
We are seeking a talented Certified Kitchen Designer with a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces. Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations to understand design preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
- Create detailed kitchen designs and layouts using industry-standard design software.
- Select and recommend materials, finishes, and appliances that align with the client’s vision.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D renderings and mood boards.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of design plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design techniques.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and installation process.
Requirements
- Certification as a Kitchen Designer from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in kitchen design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and design standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Continuing education in design trends and software advancements is preferred.
