Job Brief
As a Car Body Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of automotive exteriors. Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative car body designs using CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
- Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and materials to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
- Create detailed specifications and documentation for prototypes and production models.
- Participate in design reviews and present concepts to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Revise and refine designs based on testing results and customer feedback.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies to integrate into design processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in car body design or automotive product development.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Autodesk Alias).
- Excellent understanding of materials and manufacturing processes specific to automotive design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
