Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain artillery systems, including guns, cannons, and howitzers, ensuring optimal performance during ground combat operations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes to ensure safety and readiness.
  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on weapons and related equipment to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain radio and wire communications to facilitate effective coordination during operations.
  • Utilize advanced weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to accurately engage enemy positions and assets.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute tactical plans during training exercises and real-world scenarios.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks associated with handling and operating weaponry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant military training or experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating artillery systems and familiarity with various types of ammunition and weaponry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in preventive maintenance and repair of artillery equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics related to artillery operations.
