Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain databases that track patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
  • Proven experience in cancer registry operations and data management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in healthcare data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of cancer staging, treatment protocols, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Proficient in using computerized healthcare information systems and database management software.
  • Excellent communication and training skills to effectively educate staff.
