Responsibilities
- Cut, shape, and assemble wooden components for cabinets and furniture.
- Set up and operate woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, and mortisers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping with precision.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and craftsmanship.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on woodworking machines and tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Builder or in a similar woodworking role.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, machines, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent measuring and mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle materials and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in woodworking or carpentry are a plus.
