Job Brief

As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in facilitating exceptional food service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area, ensuring a seamless experience for guests. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the restaurant team to meet customer needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize tables and dining areas promptly after guests depart.
  • Remove dirty dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables and replace soiled linens.
  • Set tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware in preparation for new guests.
  • Replenish supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes as needed.
  • Assist in supplying the service bar with food items and necessary condiments.
  • Serve water, condiments, and coffee to patrons as required.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards while performing all tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a busser or similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety protocols in food service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
