Job Brief
As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in facilitating exceptional food service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area, ensuring a seamless experience for guests. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize tables and dining areas promptly after guests depart.
- Remove dirty dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables and replace soiled linens.
- Set tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware in preparation for new guests.
- Replenish supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes as needed.
- Assist in supplying the service bar with food items and necessary condiments.
- Serve water, condiments, and coffee to patrons as required.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while performing all tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a busser or similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety protocols in food service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
