Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate architectural and structural drawings using CAD software and other drafting tools.
- Develop topographical relief maps for civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access and reference.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure accuracy in designs.
- Stay updated with advancements in drafting technology and building materials.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and other drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and engineering principles.
- Excellent mathematical skills for precise drawing and design calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Prior experience in architectural drafting or civil engineering preferred.
