Job Brief
As a Bryologist, you will conduct research on mosses, liverworts, and hornworts, focusing on their taxonomy, ecology, and physiology. Responsibilities
- Conduct field studies to collect and identify bryophyte specimens in various ecosystems.

- Perform laboratory experiments to investigate physiological responses of bryophytes to environmental changes.
- Document and catalog field data accurately and maintain detailed records of research findings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support conservation and biodiversity projects.
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Stay updated on recent advancements in bryology and related fields.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Botany, Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in field research and plant identification, with a focus on bryophytes.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques related to plant physiology and molecular biology.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software for data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environmental conditions.
