Responsibilities

- Perform alterations, including hemming, adjusting seams, and restructuring bodices to enhance fit and design.
- Design and create custom gown modifications to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Repair and restore bridal gowns as needed, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Provide expert advice on gown selection and styling based on individual body types and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while managing multiple fittings and appointments efficiently.
- Collaborate with bridal consultants and designers to ensure cohesive service delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bridal gown fitter or in a similar role within the fashion or bridal industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and fitting techniques.
- Exceptional sewing skills with proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and hand sewing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and fit.
- Relevant certifications in fashion design or tailoring are a plus.
