Job Brief
The Bricklayer Helper assists skilled brickmasons, blockmasons, stonemasons, and tile and marble setters by performing essential support tasks that require less specialized skills. Responsibilities
- Assist brickmasons, blockmasons, stonemasons, and tile and marble setters in daily tasks to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare and supply materials and tools necessary for masonry work, ensuring they are readily available for skilled workers.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of the work area and equipment to promote a safe and organized environment.
- Transport materials to and from job sites, demonstrating knowledge of proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
- Assist in mixing mortar and other materials under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to minimize hazards on the job site.
- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or masonry work is a plus but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Basic knowledge of masonry tools and materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety practices in the construction industry.
