Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate athletes’ skills and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized coaching strategies.
  • Provide feedback and constructive criticism to help athletes refine their techniques and boost their confidence.
  • Prepare athletes for competitions by organizing sparring sessions and simulating competitive environments.
  • Monitor and assess athletes’ physical conditioning and overall fitness to ensure optimal performance levels.
  • Maintain a positive and motivating training environment that fosters teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, rules, and regulations to maintain compliance and enhance coaching methods.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a boxing coach or in a similar coaching role, with a strong knowledge of boxing techniques and fundamentals.
  • Certification in coaching or relevant sports education, with a preference for specialized boxing certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate athletes.
  • Ability to develop training plans that accommodate various skill levels and competitive goals.
  • Knowledge of physical conditioning, nutrition, and sports psychology to support athlete development.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate performance and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
