Job Brief
As a Boring Mill Operator for Metal, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending drilling machines to bore, mill, ream, or countersink metal workpieces. Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust boring mills and related machinery for precision metal machining.

- Maintain accurate production records and documentation for quality assurance.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.

- Resolve any machining issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Boring Mill Operator or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
