Job Brief
As a Booking Agent, you will represent and promote artists, performers, and athletes, facilitating successful engagements with current and prospective employers. Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts and agreements for artists, performers, and athletes with clients and event organizers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, including venue managers, promoters, and producers.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to enhance clients’ visibility and marketability.
- Research and identify potential opportunities for bookings and engagements across various platforms.
- Manage scheduling and logistical arrangements for clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Provide clients with guidance on industry trends, performance opportunities, and career development strategies.
- Coordinate and oversee promotional events, appearances, and media engagements for clients.
- Track and report on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends that may impact client opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Booking Agent or in a similar role within the entertainment industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent clients professionally.
- Deep understanding of the entertainment landscape and current market trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using booking software and CRM tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
