Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bond underwriting or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in underwriting software and risk assessment tools.
  • Professional certification in underwriting (e.g., Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter – CPCU) is preferred.
