Job Brief
As a Blow Mold Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts and products. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of molding processes, as well as the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Responsibilities
- Set up and optimize blow molding machines for production runs, ensuring specifications and quality standards are met.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with production quality standards.
- Document production data and machine performance metrics for quality assurance and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Blow Mold Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with blow molding machinery and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and machine manuals.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
