Responsibilities

- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of individuals.
- Accompany clients during community outings and appointments, promoting social inclusion.
- Document care activities and report any significant changes in the client’s condition to relevant parties.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in caregiving practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in personal care or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a caregiver, particularly working with individuals with visual impairments or disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR; certification is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
- Physical stamina and strength to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on job location.
