Job Brief
The Blackjack Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing gaming operations within assigned areas of a casino. Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of dealers and other gaming staff in Blackjack areas.
- Monitor table operations to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.
- Circulate among tables to observe gameplay and address any issues that arise during shifts.
- Verify and process jackpot payouts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Reset and maintain slot machines, making necessary repairs or adjustments as required.
- Recommend the removal of malfunctioning slot machines for repair or replacement.
- Plan and organize engaging activities and services for guests in the casino environment.
- Provide training and mentorship to new dealers and gaming staff to enhance performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or gaming management preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in casino operations, with a focus on Blackjack.
- Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced gaming environment.
- Thorough understanding of Blackjack rules, gaming regulations, and payout procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible gaming practices and knowledge of casino security protocols is a plus.
