Job Brief
As a Bicycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing a variety of bicycles to ensure optimal performance and safety for riders. Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components.
- Replace worn or damaged parts, including tires, brakes, gears, and chains, ensuring safe and smooth operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and options clearly to customers.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, services performed, and inventory management.
- Stay updated on the latest bicycle technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
- Assist customers with bicycle purchases and provide recommendations based on individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in bicycle mechanics is preferred.
- Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of bicycle systems and components.
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to bicycle repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Certifications such as the Bicycle Repair Technician (BRT) are a plus.
