Responsibilities
- Perform bareback riding routines at rodeos, fairs, and exhibitions.
- Exhibit expert riding techniques while maintaining control over the horse.
- Prepare horses for performances through grooming and conditioning.
- Collaborate with trainers and support staff to ensure optimal horse performance.
- Maintain safety protocols during practice and performances.
- Participate in promotional events and meet-and-greet activities with fans.
- Continuously enhance riding skills through training and practice.
- Monitor horse health and report any concerns to the veterinary team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bareback rider or in a similar equestrian role.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to endure rigorous performances.
- In-depth knowledge of horse behavior and training techniques.
- Ability to perform under pressure in competitive environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification in equine safety and first aid is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for performances and events.
