Job Brief
As a Bar Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for patrons, providing a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a high level of service. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patrons upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Seat guests at tables or in the lounge, taking into account their preferences and the flow of service.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
- Monitor guest needs and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with bartenders and servers to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Promote bar specials and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings to provide accurate information to guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
